    This website is offered as a way of presenting both current and historical information within the Borough of Dumont.  Its simplistic appearance is a means for you to receive and view information that is, hopefully, easy to read and understand.  It is offered on a simpler and lighter note as opposed to reading time-consuming, lengthy and wordy articles and documents. 

    The information contained within took quite some time to obtain through various personnel within our Dumont Borough Hall.  All of the actual borough documents are public information and available to anyone for verification.  However, do not be surprised if you encounter some roadblocks as you will come to see why some wish it was permanently buried.  Some of the documents are very clear.  Some are not as crisp since they are copies of a copy, but those are being made available to you for better viewing and analysis with Adobe Acrobat Reader.  All of this documentation, as well as much, much, much more is included for your review under the "Issues and Updates"  link found on every page.  

     This site does want to acknowledge the bi-partisan work and dedication of the Dumont Borough Hall staff members who have been with the borough for many years through various administrations - Republican and Democrat. 

     While this site is definitely political in nature, it takes no position to promote any political party or any candidates for political office.  It does, however, take a specific look at the actions of the current cast of elected officials within the Borough of Dumont.  Our current group continues to act with callous disregard for our community and has offered nothing but outright falsehoods, malicious distortions and demented political spins.  All of their actions are orchestrated to steer public opinion away from any notice of their misdoings.  Enough of their lies, smoke and mirror tactics, and twisting of facts to benefit their vested interests, personal careers and financial status while sacrificing the best interests of our community and its taxpayers.
