McHale and Zamechansky were reported to have illegally violated the laws that require them to report their campaign contributions. McHale and Zamechansky insisted they properly submitted all paperwork detailing the roughly $36,000 in contributions and expenditures.
Back on December 16, 2004, the Bergen Record ran an article “Donor’s Cash Pours Through Loophole” That report says that “an entity called Northern Valley First gave $14,000 to the Bergen County Democratic Organization”. It goes on to say “that it’s impossible to know where that money came from because Northern Valley First – which uses the address of the Demarest Democratic Organization Treasurer Gregg Paster – isn’t even registered with the State".
Wait a minute. Isn’t Greg Paster the attorney that McHale and the Democrats appointed as Dumont’s Borough Attorney? Another Coincidence !!!
The report also says that the “Dumont Democratic Organization” gave $18,000 to the County Democratic Organization”, but “how (or where?) the Dumont organization got that money is a mystery”.

Even back then, the Democrats claimed that they filed all of the required paperwork.
Do you see what has become a common thread among our Dumont Democrats and those that they have appointed? Hiding where they are getting their vast sums of campaign money !!!.
The issue is not only what McHale is hiding, but becomes more serious in reading that he finds himself with the need for an attorney once again. Coincidentally, his attorney just so happens to be Dennis Oury, the very same attorney for the Bergen County Democratic Organization.
WHY IS IT THAT McHALE ALWAYS SEEMS TO NEED AN ATTORNEY ?
