Could anybody have fathomed the depth and distance that our local Dumont Democrats pushed their "pay to play" appointments for money, enriched the pockets of their cohorts and circumvented laws to channel such vast sums of cash every year into their ever-multiplying accounts?
Thankfully, the Bergen Record did it for us when they published their scathing report that exposed the secrets, dark manipulations and hidden ways that Dumont's Democrats infiltrated into our town since they took control. As the Record said "the Democratic money was spread over campaign accounts in a dizzying series of transactions."
What used to be raised in a single year is now hustled by our Democrats in a single contribution by a single vendor. What we used to see spent over 10 years worth of campaigns is now being raised and spent by Dumont's Democrats in a SINGLE YEAR - upwards of $100,000 and over in certain years.
The devious ways to expand and fund their insatiable appetite for money are not the only things the Democrats are hiding. Right here in town, the Dumont Democrats have found ways to keep their "pay to play" appointments' bills away from being scrutinized by the public eye. They allow their cohorts to bill and receive payment against the CAPITAL ACCOUNT. See, when most people ask for budget and payment information, they are simply given the actual yearly budget, NOT THE CAPITAL BUDGET.
Take a really, really good look at the staggering total of our taxpayer dollars that have been given to their top three political contributors, all of which the Dumont Democrats have appointed. It amounts to a massive $2 MILLION in just 2 years alone, and we have not even included the outrageous payments of 2009.
THAT'S RIGHT, 2 MILLION DOLLARS !!!
