DUMONT'S COUNTY POLITICAL BOSS ORDERS DUMONT TO CHANGE ITS WEBSITE TO HIS CHOSEN VENDOR AND DUMONT FOLLOWS HIS ORDERS !!!
Dumont has always maintained its own official website, although the vendor and actual web address have varied through the years. Obviously happy with their Dumont website, the Borough entered into a renewal contract with its website company toward the end of 2007.
However, not even a month later, after being sworn in January of 2008 as Mayor by his County Boss, Joe Ferriero, Mayor McHale notifies the Council that he wants to award a contract to C3 Technologies for a town notification system. Shortly thereafter, and true to the beckon call of their County political boss, the Democratic Mayor and Council award another contract for another website with C3 Technologies.
Evidently, C3 Communications has nurtured relationships with Bergen County and its Democratic operatives. Given all of "pay to play" appointments and lucrative contracts awarded by Dumont's Democrats as demanded by their besieged County political boss, Joe Ferriero, it should come as no surprise that they have, once again, imposed higher costs upon our taxpayers to rake additional dollars into their campaign coffers.
Yet again, This blatant disregard for our taxpayers will cost us $36,000, or more than 4 times what any other vendor has charged our town.
