Following the arrest and indictment of Bergen County Democratic Chairman Joe Ferriero, Dumont Mayor McHale returned to, once again, resume his position as the paid, full-time Director of the Bergen County Democratic Organization.
Ferriero was CONVICTED on Federal charges of CONSPIRACY and MAIL FRAUD. Ferriero used his position and influence to promote a company he owned but never disclosed that he had a secret stake in the company's profits that derived money from taxpayer funded programs.
