Once again in 2008, McHale and his Democratic cronies have saddled the Dumont taxpayers with yet another whopper of a tax increase.

     What happened to almost $2 MILLION DOLLARS in State Aid Money and the MEGA-MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in additional ratables with the unprecedented Democratic approvals of new condos, townhouses, land subdivisions and houses over the past 3 years?

     Why has our town's budget exploded almost 50% from $13 million in 2004 to well over $18 million in 2008 in just 4 short years?

     Why have our taxes gone up over 50% in these same 4 short years?

     Even the Democrats credit the prior administration for holding the line on taxes from 1989-2003.  Up until 2003, Dumont's taxes were among the lowest in the entire County with programs and services that were second to none.
